Spyder

*Spyder* is a 32 inch, heavily coated black/cream tan NEUTERED male that is leash, crate and car trained. We are looking for his *forever* home with folks who will love him to bits, want a great guardian, a super smart and goofy comedian. Spyder is very strong willed but very sensitive so he responds quickly to commands done in a stern voice, no need to raise a hand to him or get excessively physical.
He does love to gallop around so we would like the home to have quite some room to run or are active enough on foot, skates or skateboard to keep up with him, he gallops like an ungangly giraffe! He is very loving and polite but again, his sheer size often makes him klutzy so I do not recommend him for homes with little children (10 and up should be fine).
He has been raised around horses, goats and has seen our chickens and barn cats in the distance. NO guaranteee that he won't go after a cat or small animal most likely in fun but in the chase that can quickly switch over to high prey drive. His sisters have it as does his brother so I wouldn't recommend him with animals that make a lot of noise (like a chicken squawking or cat meowing) and runs fast. He just cannot resist.
He has excellent teeth, health, normal thyroid, decent hips, gorgeous heavy coat but isn't fond of getting his coulottes or tail groomed but we muster through.
